Fall Family Pictures
I explored past posts on my blog the other day and even took a stroll down my “meet Amanda” page. It needed some updating so I decided that there is no better time than now to do so! So much has happened in the last almost two years since I began blogging. We’ve traveled, grown our businesses and welcomed a another little one to our tribe. I’ve grown as a person, mom, wife and friend during that time as well. I cannot believe that just two years ago this was all a dream and not yet formed. Every single day, I learn something new and I love being able to…

The Perfect Bottle with Munchkin
This blog has been compensated by Munchkin and I received these products in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own. Read my disclaimer page for more information. August is Breast Feeding Awareness Month, so I wanted to share a little bit of what makes breastfeeding and bottle-feeding easier in my life. With Scarlet being my third baby and this being my third time breastfeeding, I knew that I would have to prepare myself for engorgement during the first few weeks. Thankfully, I purchased a breast pump with the gift cards from my baby sprinkle and have stored a pretty impressive milk stash in the fridge. One of the things that Nolan…

Sunday Funday at Carolina Roadhouse
This past weekend, Scarlet Reese turned two weeks old! It’s hard to believe that it has been two weeks she since entered our lives, we love life with her! I haven’t really ventured away from home since she was born and I was hit with a case of cabin fever. We decided to make a quick family trip to the beach to eat at one of our favorite restaurants, Carolina Roadhouse, so I could get out of the house for a little bit and we could all enjoy some good food! Before we had kids, Derrek and I used to go there on dates and now as a family, we…

Scarlet Reese is HERE!
Hey y’all! I know it’s been a while since my last blog, but I am back! I finally had the sweetest baby girl that grew in my belly for 41 weeks! It was the longest pregnancy I’ve ever had, and in the scorching heat of this South Carolina summer, it surely felt like it. We lived in Charleston with my sister at her house with her three kids, her dog, our two dogs, our kids and my mom for the last month of my pregnancy. While I appreciated the support and help during the last few weeks of pregnancy, being away from home for that long was really intense. We…

Milk Bath Session
Last week, I had the opportunity to shoot with my extremely talented friend Kristina Mosley. She has shot us before at our home and during her fall mini session, and we LOVE each and every single picture she has taken! I have been really interested in participating in a milk bath photoshoot that I have seen on Pinterest and when I mentioned the idea to her, she was just as excited as I was. I wanted to take some really artsy photos to hang in our home and to have forever, and I think these are absolutely stunning! Kristina is such a great photographer; she made me feel completely comfortable during…
