Walmart Family Mobile PLUS plan – movie night

This has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser, Walmart Family Mobile. All opinions are mine alone. #DataAndAMovie #CollectiveBias. Living in the country has changed the way that we use things, things that you might never consider–like the internet. Out here, there is no broadband service, and for us, that means no streaming movies, TV shows or music like Derrek and I used to when we lived in a bigger city. For a while, we really struggled with this. I mean, it is 2016, so connectivity is important! However, thanks to a plan offered by Walmart, we have found ways around our internet barrier. Mother’s Day Photoshoot

my dress | bangles | Harper’s dress | bow | Nolan’s shirt | shorts As Mother’s Day approaches, I am constantly reminded how amazing my life is (these gorgeous pictures from my Mother’s Day shoot helped me with those feelings.) Let me state that my life is NOT perfect and really very far from it. Happy Tuesday Playlist

tank | leggings | jean shirt | shoes If Monday wasn’t the Mondayest Monday ever, I don’t know what else could explain it. I’m having this baby at the Charleston Birth Place and planning on staying in Charleston the last week of my pregnancy so I’m not making that drive in labor, ha! Today I’ve got big plans to ship some packages out and spend the day with my kids outdoors. The weather is back in the upper 80s and we couldn’t be more ecstatic! This means lots of time spent outside and happy…

    Finding Our Happy Place

rug | felt food | crochet dolls | wall decals | t-shirts | toy bins As a stay at home mom, I sometimes feel like the hours inch by during the week. This Monday was the Mondayest Monday of all Mondays. Both of the kids have the sniffles, we were out of eggs (huge ordeal because we eat them daily), Harper peed on the floor a few times (yay for potty training), and I forgot about a prenatal appointment that I had that day. Determined to not let it get me down, I added Acceptance oil to the diffusers and took the kids upstairs to play chef in Harper’s room.…

    Red Bone Alley Local Hotspot

I’ve gotten a lot of questions about where I live, and to be honest, it would take me quite a few blogs to fully describe the beauty of my home state. I love South Carolina! I want to help y’all understand how beautiful our Southern life is, and part of what makes it that way is all of the unique places we visit around the state. I’ve decided to share my favorite local spots over the course of the next few months so you can see for yourself how amazing everything is. I love the slower paced lifestyle in the country, but when we want to indulge, we head to…
