How Playtex Binky® Pacifiers Have Helped Us With Teething

This is a sponsored post however, all opinions are my own. Please read my disclaimer page for more information.

I shared a little of our life lately on my social media Sunday but I wanted to talk a little more in depth about everything. Let me start off by saying that I LOVE being a mom. My children are my WORLD and I wouldn’t change my life for anything. That does not mean that there aren’t hard times and that it can be quite overwhelming at certain points. To me, teething is one of the most trying times of motherhood. The bad thing is, that it just doesn’t happen once, but several times over the span of years. With every new tooth comes days or even a week of really intense emotions from us all. The upside is that each time, I become a little more patient, understanding and loving and I am thankful that teething helps me become a better mom. On the other hand, I loose a lot of sleep and gain a few gray hairs when one of my children gets a new tooth.

Scarlet Reese has TWO teeth that came in during the weekend and during this, I found that she actually has grown to love her Playtex® Binky® pacifiers. None of my children were ever dependent on pacifiers but it brings me happiness and sanity knowing that her soother actually helps while she is teething. She has been biting me A LOT when she teethes and also grinds her teeth together so, I decided to hand her a pacifier one day and she quickly stuck it in her mouth and calmed down. #momwin, am I right? The Playtex® Binky® pacifiers help babies to self-soothe by satisfying their natural sucking instincts. They are designed to simulate the shape of mother’s nipple for child’s soothing and calming comfort. During her teething phases, she has kept one of these in her mouth and one in her hand at all times.

Another thing that I’ve learned from each of my children is to not judge other moms for how they comfort their littles. When Nolan was born, I thought that I knew it all and I was very quick to tell you that. Now that I have three children, I am more open to hearing what works for other people and also secure enough to let her have a pacifier and not feel like I SHOULD BE HER PACIFIER. I cannot tell you how much this has changed me as a mother but I can tell you that it has made me better and continues to make me a better mom every single day. To all you mamas, going through motherhood, whatever route you decide is best for you babies, I am here to support you!
