Coconut Milk Quinoa Breakfast
This week has been bananas, but thankfully the weekend is here, and now that my Earth Day event at Kindbelly has passed, I can relax with my family. By relaxing, I’m not talking a vacay on a tropical island, I totally mean enjoying our home and doing yard work. We’ve neglected our yard for tooooooo long and now that the weather is warming up, we cannot wait to go out there every day. We started our garden inside with seedlings and now that Derrek put chicken manure in my raised beds, we can plant away! Nolan is super excited about watering the garden and watching its daily process… I really…

Baby Booster Kona Mocha Smoothie Bowl
Sometimes for breakfast, I love to make a smoothie bowl! This happens when I get a sweet tooth but want a healthy way to deal with it. With the help of the Baby Booster Kona Mocha chocolate protein powder, I fulfilled my craving along with extra prenatals! (This post was compensated by the Baby Booster. All opinions are my own.) This chocolate protein powder is amazing for expecting mamas because it’s packed with a wide spectrum of essential prenatal nutrients and 20g of protein. Saturday mornings are the perfect time for smoothie bowls because Derrek is here and I can take the extra time to create something different with my smoothie. The Kona…

Orange Banana Smoothie
For the past few months, I’ve been craving oranges like crazy! That, combined with eating out all week has me wanting healthy options now that we’re home. We have a bunch of oranges – I stock up when we go to Costco – so I decided to whip up a simple smoothie for our breakfast. Nolan and Harper acquired my love of fruit and have enjoyed my orange cravings right along with me. This smoothie was super simple to make and took less than five minutes to throw together. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do! Ingredients: 3 peeled oranges 1 frozen banana 1 tablespoon of Salba…

We LIVE for pumpkin pies, PSL, and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies!I have been clean eating for a few years now (with a few exceptions here and there) so finding a healthy pumpkin smoothie recipe was something I knew needed to happen in the fall. I have this ginormous sweet teeth that occurred during one of my pregnancies and has never disappeared. I went straight to Pinterest, but I just didn’t fall in love with what I found. I decided to create my own take on a pumpkin spice smoothie, and…

Berry Chocolate Smoothie Raw Jar
I am pretty consistent with my breakfasts… eggs, avocado toast, fresh juice, oatmeal or smoothies. When I make my smoothies thinner or make fresh juice, I like to use my glass Raw Jars. My Raw Jars are also a favorite of mine for measuring my water intake because on the side there is a liquid measurer. I found this product on Instagram at the beginning of this year, and I’ve been using it every day since. I have two of them, a small jar and a large. I like to use the large jar for my juices and water and the small jar for my smoothies. I’ve shared a smoothie…
