Back to School with Old Navy
This post is sponsored by Old Navy. All opinions are my own. Please read my disclaimer page for more information. Back to school is officially here wow, I cannot believe that it’s time for school again! Even though we LOVE summer, my little’s LOVE getting prepped to start their school year and part of that is back to school shopping. When I think of where I need to go and shop is always Old Navy, and it’s a great time to #sayhi with them. Their clothing selection is one of my favorites and definitely somewhere, I never walk out empty handed. I LOVE being able to color coordinate with my…

Our Evolving Playroom
I look back at the evolution of this little room and it’s actually quite amazing how much it has transformed over the last five years. When we first moved into this home, Derrek turned this into his office with a glass desk and a love seat but it never felt like an office. The office furniture didn’t “fit” into the space and when Nolan turned six months old, we took that furniture out and made it a playroom for him. Of course, at that time we didn’t have a large income and his playroom consisted of a few hand me down toys, bright colored playmat from Walmart and a little…

Organic Strawberry Lemonade Shortcake Treats Thanks to Foodstirs
I was given these items in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own. Please check out my disclaimer page for more information. Life with kids is always interesting and I have found that filling our time with fun experiences cuts down on the fighting and frustration between the older two. This summer, we have had many play dates, trips, pool days, movie nights, beach vacations and many days baking sweets for a special treat. I have never been a big baker. Having to measure all the ingredients perfectly and really follow directions isn’t my thing and has resulted in numerous botched attempts at baking. Enter Foodstirs to…

How Our Pack and Play Makes Life Easier
This post was sponsored by Guava Family. All opinions and reviews are my own. Please read my disclaimer page for more information. To say that we love summer is a BIG understatement. My kids and I live and breathe summer. I know that the heat is something that takes getting used to but honestly, we go to the pool or the beach everyday (and we even have a kiddie pool for them to cool off in whenever they want) so it doesn’t bother us that much. I would take a hot and humid day any day over freezing cold rain and no sun. Nolan learned how to swim last summer…

Life With Three Kids
Being a mom isn’t all butterflies and rainbows. It’s hard. Especially when you don’t have a family that helps and gives you a break every now and then. When I was a year old, my parents got a divorce so, I’ve never known what a solid family dynamic was. As I type this, I have tears in my eyes because it overwhelms me with emotions. Something that is very important to me, is that my kids don’t grow up the way that I did. For many reasons, we live an attachment parenting lifestyle. This is a parenting philosophy that proposes methods which aim to promote the attachment of mother and…
