Falling into Fall
This post is in partner with Freshly Picked. We were gifted these products in exchange for my honest review. Please visit my disclaimer page for more information. The temperate hasn’t changed in SC but fall has brought a ton of activities. I find that there is SO much to do at any given time and we are rarely home outside of our homeschool schedule. I love fall for many reasons… it does take a little longer for it to get cooler in the South but camping, visiting the pumpkin patches, decorating our home, going to fall festivals and the fair, drinking hot chocolate by a bonfire and having a s’mores.…

A Day In the Life
What does a day in my life look like? I am asked about this A LOT! A day in my life is crazy but a little structured. That sounds so silly hahahahaha! But it’s true! Monday-Friday you can normally find us home unless we make a random trip, I have a buisness meeting, a play date or go to our homeschool Co Op. The weekends we normally go do family activities or Derrek and I go on a date and that’s when I go grocery shopping. I am very much a homebody but I like to get out of the house 2 times a week for several hours. Everyday I…

Shedding Light On An Important Topic for All Women
October brings leaves falling, festivals, pumpkins and football games but it also brings an important topic to front of everyone’s minds. October is known for being breast cancer awareness month but we often miss the importance of it. Knowledge is power and it’s important to note that a lot of breast cancer diagnoses are linked to exposure to toxic substances. 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and…

Healthy Food Ideas (what I like to eat right now)
Hands down, healthy meal and snack ideas, are one of the most asked about topics from my followers. I can see why because it’s something that I am constantly changing in our diets. Before I transitioned to a healthier lifestyle, I was the queen of cheap and fast food items! The dollar menu was my jam and I could have carried less about the nutritional value. Now that I’m older and wiser (ha) I get to share the many things that I’ve learned along the way and what my go-to meal and snacks are right now. A few years ago, when I started my blog, one of the first things…

Transitioning to Fall via Old Navy
This blog is sponsored by Old Navy. I was given these items in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own. Please visit my disclaimer page for more information. Fall in the South isn’t exactly like Fall everywhere else. During fall, we do have a slightly cooler weather average and every now and then a good breeze if we’re lucky. There is no warm hats, sweaters and cozy campside fires yet. Although it does give me major FOMO at times, I can’t beat being able to still enjoy the beach or playing outside with the kids while it’s warm either. The one thing I’ve had to come to…
