Stretches you should try to do every morning + night!

    September 7, 2021 /

One of the things that I try to do every day for my health is stretch. Stretching is important.  When you take the time to stretch it helps to keep your muscles flexible, strong and working properly. For our joints to keep a range of motion, stretching is needed to maintain flexibility. When we do not do it, our muscles shorten and become tight. This is a problem when you try to use them because they are weak and not able to extend correctly. I am sure that you don’t want discomfort in your workouts or a injury during one, so let me help! You don’t have to have a lot…

Upper Body Workouts You Can Do Anywhere

    February 16, 2021 /

Are you wanting to help add more definition to your arms outside of carrying babies and grocery bags? I’ve got you! I love working on my arms and building muscle strength. This is something I work on every day in yoga but also love working on targeted areas when I have extra time. On arm day you can find me rotating these…. I personally suggest starting somewhere with lower reps and building on as your endurance gets bigger. I made sure to share ones that are also easily modified based on level and able to be done anywhere. Push ups – I could not do full push ups until this…

This Is What I Learned About How Yoga Helps Your Spine

    October 28, 2020 /

Spine health is something that we should all focus on but it’s not something that we know a lot about due to education. I did not know anything about how important taking care of our spines are until I met my husband Derrek, a chiropractor and the person who educated me on this subject. I do encourage everyone to start getting adjustments by a chiropractor – click here to read more. Along with weekly adjustments, I do feel like it’s important to be aware and proactive in giving your spine love. I have personally seen a positive change in my spine by practicing yoga on a weekly basis as well.…

    How Yoga Helped Me

    March 26, 2020 /

Never in my life would I have expected to like yoga as much as I do. Let me take that back… LOVE yoga as much as I do! Y’all, it has changed my life in four short months and I know it could do the same for you. I’ll back up and explain more of my story with this. In December of 2019, I felt that I wanted to start exercising again. I was four months postpartum and wanting to get back into a routine BUT I didn’t want to go back to hardcore workouts because I was scared. I’ve had five babies and my core strength is at it’s…

    Energy Boosting the Natural Way

    March 11, 2020 /

One of my biggest issues after child birth is keeping a consistent flow of energy. I don’t know if it’s the feedings every two hours, running around like a mad woman trying to do all the things or W H A T but I’m all about finding solutions. Let me just start off by saying, I have researched different things and I just sharing my experiences and my findings. I always suggest you doing your own research, especially if you feel like what I share is lacking the information you need to make a decision. If you have low energy, chronic fatigue, allergies, or a condition that leaves you feeling…
