Five quick and healthy kid approved breakfasts

    October 1, 2021 /

Morning time before school is hands down the craziest part of my day. I have five kids so there is five times the fun involved. There are lunchboxes to get ready, water bottles to fill up, clothes to get on, hair brushed, teeth brushed, shoes on, ohhh yea and BREAKFAST to make and eat. Shew, I’m tired already! Ha! But seriously, I am sure I am not the only one striving to make things easier in all areas of life. My house tends to thrive better on lose schedules and routines and I am hoping that by sharing more of a peak into our world that you are able to…

Nap Time Tips From A Crunchy Mom of Five

    May 12, 2021 /

This post is in partner with Lovevery. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Please read their disclaimer page for more information. Five kids and many years of trying all the things has given me lots of insight on getting your toddlers to nap. Sometimes that nap struggle is so overwhelming and has left me feeling really confused as what to do. Why is it so hard to get a child to willingly take a nap? I can say that all of my babies were very different but there are a few common trends that I was able to see with each of them and when I focused on these…

What’s Hiding In The Air In Our Homes?

    February 2, 2021 /

Since starting my own family, I’ve slowly learned about air purifying and why it’s a must for the inside of our homes. It was most definitely NOT my first swap when switching to a nontoxic lifestyle but one that I found extremely important after learning about laundry products we use that can cause air pollution in the air. That’s what made me have an AH HA! moment about what could be hiding in the air quality of own home. Since then I have been on a major quest to reduce the contaminates in any way I can. One of the major investments I’ve made for our home has been air…

Loving On Your Plants: WINTER EDITION

    January 21, 2021 /

Winter is in full effect and I’m not going to pretend to like it but I’m here for the educational value. Let’s talk plant care in the winter… it’s important! We want to love on our plant babies – especially those that are working hard to purify the air in our homes and winter time allows us the time to pour into them more as our lives slow down. Just as you would change the way you self care during the winter, we want to do the same for the plants that live with us our homes. Indoor plants need modified care during the winter months so they thrive, let’s…
