    Finding Our Happy Place

rug | felt food | crochet dolls | wall decals | t-shirts | toy bins As a stay at home mom, I sometimes feel like the hours inch by during the week. This Monday was the Mondayest Monday of all Mondays. Both of the kids have the sniffles, we were out of eggs (huge ordeal because we eat them daily), Harper peed on the floor a few times (yay for potty training), and I forgot about a prenatal appointment that I had that day. Harper’s Dollies

If you’re an avid follower of my blog, you know that I try to take the kids to play separately and together in their rooms during the week. We don’t really use our upstairs yet, but I wanted them to each have their own space personalized for them. The past few months, I have seen Harper’s wheels start turning more than normal. Harper just got her new doll from Amelia’s Kisses and has been carrying her around everywhere! The quality of the crochet dolls she has from Amelia’s Kisses blows me away and they have truly found a home with our little girl. When Harper brushes her…

If you could see how much they eat and drink, I think you’d actually wonder how on Earth we’re able to keep anything in the house. While Derrek or myself is fixing their breakfast, we try and keep them content with a drink and some giggles in the kitchen. When they first wake up, they are both so happy and fun! I call this their golden hour. They love to curl up in the kitchen with their blankets and cups while we sing silly songs and talk about what we are thankful for. Every day, I try…
