    Pumping 101 + Tips from a Mom of 5

    March 13, 2021 /

Before I became a mom, I spent a lot of time in researching topics that involved pregnancy, birth and also breast-feeding. I did not take the time to learn anything about the world of pumping and it is a regret I have in my motherhood journey. It’s one of the regrets that I have because after I had my first baby, it was so intimidating to me that I wouldn’t even attempt to pull my pump out. I am so thankful that over the years I’ve learned how to use a breast pump and I definitely feel more confident so that I can in turn share what I know with…

Nontoxic Pots and Pans + Why You Want to Make the Switch

    March 9, 2021 /

A huge nontoxic transition in your kitchen will be pots, pans and cooking containers like crockpots or an instant pot. This transition was big deal for my family because before we switched to non toxic cookware, we had our college cheap-o pots and pans and a crock pot. I recently added a post on how to shift your entire kitchen over to nontoxic and you can read that by clicking here. What I found during researching what is in our pots and pans and also after watching the Netflix documentary “The Devil We Know,” is that most of the chemicals from everyday cookware leaches into our bodies with each use.…

Habits to Set You Up for a Successful Week

    March 8, 2021 /

Don’t let your daily thought process say “what am I going to work on today?” let’s organize our week together so we can flow through it easier and we already know what we need to prepare for. In my motherhood journey, I’ve felt so chaotic, overwhelmed and there’s not to mention, always something to do. This has also caused Re occurring issues and in my life when I do not consistently get my family’s flow together. Life works so much easier when it organized and has so sort of plan. I am the center of our family unit, and this is the main reason I’ve got my act together. So,…

What I Eat In Day – Ideas For Healthy + Fresh Options

    March 7, 2021 /

This post is in partner with Daily Harvest. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Please read my disclaimer page for more information. I’ll be honest I’ve been really intimidated to sit down and really write out a play-by-play of the foods that I eat. It’s one of the most frequent questions that I asked and every time I sit down at the computer end up freezing up and not writing the whole thing.  At this point in my life, I have decided to eliminate all fast foods, most processed foods, and focus on eating organic and fresh high-quality foods. My tastes do change often but I found I always…

How to Incorporate romance when you have a house full of children

    March 5, 2021 /

My husband and I have been married for almost 9 years. We’ve had kids for all 9 of those years so getting out the house for date nights and even spending the night away from the kids, together hasn’t been the easiest. It has allowed us to get created and think outside of the box when it comes to “our time.” During our years together, we have really focused on making sure we keep our relationship healthy because we both agree that our marriage is important and it’s always something we should focus on, no matter how kids we have or how limited our babysitting resources have been.  It’s taken…
