The Best Advice I’ve Ever Received About Work
“You can do it all but you cannot do it all in one day.” Have you ever heard this statement? It’s something that was shared with me a few years ago and resonates with me several times a day. I am someone who has extremely BIG goals for herself, is working multiple businesses and raising five babies. To say I am busy is the understatement of the century. I am sure we can all say that we are at least somewhat busy with life and wanting to make sure we maximize the time we devote to work. Family Game Night: Our Top Five
One of our favorite things to do as a family is play a fun game and have a family game night. I’ve done this since I was little, my Daddy and I used to play cards together when I spent the weekend with him. When Derrek and I started dating, we also played cards and as our older children have gotten to an age to understand a little better, we play with them. The weather in South Carolina is so up and down that we never know if it’s going to be freezing cold or warm and breezey. I am 100% ok with it being warmer than normal in the winter months because I love being outside. With five littles, it really doesn’t help any of us to be cooped up inside for very long. On the weekends, I try to find something fun around town for us to go do with all the kiddos and if I can’t find something…

It’s Wine-o-Clock Somewhere
This post is in partner with Sokol. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Please read my disclaimer page for more information. Ya’ll! I feel like THIS WEEK of the holiday season is the craziest, most hectic and stressful time! I have so much jam packed into this week that my calendar looks just as crazy as it sounds. To say that I am happy that New Year’s is right around the corner is an understatement. With so much going on, I have resorted to retreating to the back porch with a bottle of wine while Derrek is with the kids after school. This is not my usual after school…
