Hi, I’m Amanda... wife, mama of seven, and an Integrative Health Practitioner passionate about helping women create healthy, grace-filled rhythms for their homes, hormones, and families.

For the past 13+ years I’ve walked the path of holistic living... from learning first hand about the importance of postpartum recovery and how to balance hormones naturally, to running a busy, joy-filled home without losing peace (or breaking the bank).

On this blog you’ll find simple, research-backed wellness tips, biblical encouragement, real-life mom hacks, and tools that help you care well for yourself and your family.

If you’re ready to trade overwhelm for clarity and live with intention in your health, home, and faith... you’re in the right place.

Why I Suggest All Breastfeeding Moms Use a HAAKKAA

    September 8, 2022 /

If you’re about to have a baby or just had a baby and nursing, then I strongly urge you use a HAAKAA milk catcher when you’re nursing. The HAAKKAA is made for breastfeeding and pumping moms. I’ve used it with my last three babies and WOW it has really been a major perk while postpartum and wanting to start a milk supply but not wanting to pump. It is perfect for those who have baby latched to one side, and are experiencing a let down on the other side. I always attach to my other breast while nursing and then take the collected milk and store it in the freezer.…

    3rd Trimester Must Haves

    October 16, 2019 /

This pregnancy has FLOWN by. I cannot believe I am at the end and it makes me so sad. The third trimester can be difficult but I’m here to share a few things that have helped me navigate and make it easier. Pregnancy Pillow – I resisted buying one this go around but ya’ll… it’s a game changer. I can comfortably sleep again, thank you Jesus. This one is super soft but also doesn’t break the bank. It was less than $40. TOTALLY WORTH IT! Charcoal Facial Mask – Ohhhh ya’ll, the struggle with hormonal acne is real. I depend on this mask 2-3 times a week to save my…

Baby Number 5: Most Asked Birth/Breastfeeding/Maternity Questions

    October 14, 2019 /

Happy Monday ya’ll! I hope you’re having a wonderful day. I am still pregnant (38 weeks and 3 days) with baby number five and I’ve got all the feels for this chapter because I know that a new one is right around the corner. I’m not wishing this pregnancy away like I’ve done in the past but fully embracing it because once it’s over I immediately get those feelings of “I wish I was pregnant again.” During my pregnancies, ya’ll ask me all the questions… WHICH I LOVE and I’m excited to do a little pregnancy, home birth, postpartum, breastfeeding Q and A here for ya’ll to reference. I’ve done…

MUST HAVE MATERNITY ITEM: Body Con Dress

    September 16, 2019 /

This post is in partner with Ingrid and Isabel. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Please read my disclaimer page for more information. I feel like I say this every week, but wow another week has already flown by! I guess this back-to-school-it’s-almost-fall-and-time-to-have-a-baby season can’t last forever. This really has been the best pregnancy so far, it’s been the least crazy and easiest on me personally (I can’t vouch for the rest of the fam, haha). I hate that it’s almost over! For all the women that are currently pregnant or had a baby, I want you to be gentle with yourselves. It’s a magical thing to grow another…

Ingrid and Isabel Maternity – Fall Style

    September 4, 2019 /

This post is in partner with Ingrid and Isabel. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Please visit my disclaimer page for more information. (Note: I wrote this last week before the stomach bug entered our house) We are have way through the week and man, it feels like this week is extra long for some reason. I’ve been dealing with a health issue over the last few weeks and it’s really thrown me for a loop. Come to find out, I have a lack of the right amount of vitamin D right now which is causing a wide range of health issues – anxiety, brain fog, headaches, itchy skin,…
