I’ve been looking for ways to teach Nolan while he is at home with me. He will start kindergarten next year and I wanted to jump start his learning and get him excited about going to school. The hardest part about teaching your children is the preparation involved with the lessons. Valentine’s Day is almost here y’all! Who else is getting pumped about all the hearts and candy? Nolan loves any excuse to celebrate, and ever since we walked into Target a few weeks ago and he saw the décor everywhere, the questions have come back-to-back! I love hearing the excitement he builds up about celebrating, and once I explained that he can give out Valentine’s to his friends, he’s been all about this holiday. I’m back!
Oh y’all, I am SO sorry for taking a break from blogging. The past two weeks have been INSANE! I’ve been out of town in Charleston because of two prenatal appointments and my mother’s back surgery. For a week, I took care of her and three of my nieces and nephews along with my two kids. Derrek thankfully held down the fort at Sweet Tea Jewels, and although I missed his cute face off, I am forever thankful for his help with our business.
