For the past 13+ years I’ve walked the path of holistic living... from learning first hand about the importance of postpartum recovery and how to balance hormones naturally, to running a busy, joy-filled home without losing peace (or breaking the bank).

Why I Decided To Get Hair Extensions Postpartum After Baby Number 6

    March 21, 2023 /

In early January, I decided to take the plunge and get hair extensions and I absolutely LOVE them. You’re probably wondering why I would do something like this so here it goes… For the past ten years, I’ve been pregnant or postpartum and my hair has seen better days. Every single time I have a baby, my hair goes through a major shedding stage to where I’m left with legit large bald spots and regrowth that looks like someone got a pair of scissors and gave me Barbie bangs.  NOTHING HAS HELPED MY REGROWTH to where I’ve been able to get long hair again. No amount of vitamins, supplements, hair…

How I meal prep every week to help my week flow

    October 10, 2021 /

I am not super organized at all.the.things but 10 years into being a mom, I have found things that benefit us and a lot of them are built habits. The saying “it takes 21 days to build a habit,” has reigned true consistently when I’ve decided to try new things and create new flows in our home. Some things just don’t work for us, but I only learned that through trial and error. A lot of structure in my life comes from organized systems.  I love my planner, calendar views in all the places, everything being in its place, and meals ready to go, but that requires backend work. Weekends…

Things I’ve Learned As A Mom of Multiples

    December 19, 2020 /

SHOP BOTH OF OUR OUTFITS BY CLICKING HERE. The things I wish I could go back and tell myself as I was holding my first born, Nolan, as a squishy little newborn. A lot of things have changed since he was born, including the fact that I’ve had five children in the last 8 years. Being a mom and a mom of multiple children at that, has allowed me to learn more things I never knew I would, grow more than I could have ever imagined and love harder than ever before. There is never a shortage of things to do with them and I try to be present as…

Why I Think Every Mom Should Own An Ergo Adapt

    October 2, 2020 /

The most common phrase people say to me when they find out how many kids I have is “I just don’t know how you do it.” Honestly y’all, MOM LIFE IS HARD. Being a parent is HARD, no matter how many children you have. I personally feel like having one child as first time mom was the biggest struggle of my life, and then I had two and I thought that was the hardest thing ever and so on and so forth. Here I am today, as a mom of five amazing children and I want to share one of my best tips for how I keep my sanity and…

Baby Number 5: Most Asked Birth/Breastfeeding/Maternity Questions

    October 14, 2019 /

Happy Monday ya’ll! I hope you’re having a wonderful day. I am still pregnant (38 weeks and 3 days) with baby number five and I’ve got all the feels for this chapter because I know that a new one is right around the corner. I’m not wishing this pregnancy away like I’ve done in the past but fully embracing it because once it’s over I immediately get those feelings of “I wish I was pregnant again.” During my pregnancies, ya’ll ask me all the questions… WHICH I LOVE and I’m excited to do a little pregnancy, home birth, postpartum, breastfeeding Q and A here for ya’ll to reference. I’ve done…
