Hi, I’m Amanda... wife, mama of seven, and an Integrative Health Practitioner passionate about helping women create healthy, grace-filled rhythms for their homes, hormones, and families.

For the past 13+ years I’ve walked the path of holistic living... from learning first hand about the importance of postpartum recovery and how to balance hormones naturally, to running a busy, joy-filled home without losing peace (or breaking the bank).

On this blog you’ll find simple, research-backed wellness tips, biblical encouragement, real-life mom hacks, and tools that help you care well for yourself and your family.

If you’re ready to trade overwhelm for clarity and live with intention in your health, home, and faith... you’re in the right place.

Q and A for the growing belly

    June 28, 2019 /

Y’all, this pregnancy is just trucking along. I cannot believe that I am 23 weeks with my fifth child. It makes me so happy and emotional that we will be bringing another sweet little Scott baby into our family in October. This is my last pregnancy so I am soaking in all the things and trying to make time slow down because I know I will miss it once it passes. I get a ton of questions about pregnancy and I am really happy to share more about my experiences with y’all! When you’re pregnant people just tend to go dark real quick with how horrible it is or the…

    Psoriasis 101

    June 24, 2019 /

I don’t know if y’all know this or not but I suffer from an autoimmune disease called Psoriasis. I’ve had this for as far back as I can remember but it wasn’t until recently that I knew what I was dealing with. Psoriasis is described as a common issue that people can get from genetics, vaccine reactions or triggered by something in their environment and is called an inflammatory disease. The symptoms are very itchy patches of bumpy and inflamed red skin that turn into scaly type scabs. Now that I know what it is, I can see the things I do (and use) that can cause flare ups. I…

How To: Switch to a Nontoxic Lifestyle

    June 7, 2019 /

The reason that I created this blog is to be a resource for the people around me. I know from experience how hard transitioning to a non toxic lifestyle can be – with NO guidance. I did it. I was a poor college student and I just started making changes. I didn’t know much of anything, other than I wanted to lose weight and not be depressed or anxious anymore. That was ALL that I knew. I share that because a) anyone can do this, it just takes a mindset of wanting to, b) you don’t have to switch everything at once, c) that’s what this blog is for! I…

What to Steer Clear From at the Grocery Store

    May 30, 2019 /

Hey ya’ll! I hope you’re having a wonderful week so far! I know that the weather in South Carolina went from Spring to scorching hot Summer VERY quickly but we are enjoying it by spending a lot of time at the beach and the pool. With the end of school getting closer and closer, I am hyper focused on groceries. I don’t know about you and your family but when the kids are home more, they just want to snack 24/7. It’s helped me find new hiding places in my house to ratio snacks (#momlife) and get back to a cleaner and more healthy grocery store haul.Your food is your…

    Adult Vitamins 101

    May 28, 2019 /

I don’t know how y’all feel but in our household, adulting is hard! We have so many things to focus on and accomplish every single day, it’s easy to put our health last. Unfortunately, when you do that, you tend to get sickly and with four kids running around that is just not an option for my husband and myself. A lot of the nutrients that your body needs can be found in the form of foods and I strongly urge you to take care of yourself with a well rounded diet. I also know how much of a focus that can be so, I’m sharing our favorite vitamins to…
