Keeping Kids Busy: Inside Edition
Ohhhhhhh ya’ll, as we go into another week of our new normal I have got to say that I’m going a little stir crazy and so are my kids. In an effort to help all of our mental health, I am doing my best to stay busy. That also means keeping my kids busy. I’m not saying that our entire day is mapped out and calculated (we have a loose schedule) but we fill our time with fun things that allow imaginations to run wild and also make us laugh. From card games to forts, we are rotating all the things and loving the outcome. Yes, our “normal” has changed…

The Down Low on Baby Wearing
Baby wearing is something that I do every single day. It’s how I accomplish cleaning, cooking or running errands. I didn’t know a thing about baby wearing until Nolan was about 6 months old and wow it is a total game changer for a mom. So what exactly are hormone disruptors, and what are they doing to our bodies? Hormone disruptors (also called endocrine disruptors or EDs in scientific literature), are chemicals that act on your hormonal system. They usually work in one of three ways: They fool the body into thinking that they’re naturally occurring hormones. Some examples are: Oestrogens (the female sex…

Stinkbug Naturals
I’ve been a lover of Stinkbug Naturals for several years now. It is my favorite nontoxic deodorant and trust me, I’ve tried them all! Most non toxic deodorants don’t work or cause skin irritation due to the baking soda ingredients. I’m thankful for Stinkbug because it’s effective and also isn’t crazy expensive. I have always been a “stinky” girl, to the point that I had prescribed antiperspirant when I was in college. I’ve bounced around from brand to brand and found that the most toxic deodorant would cover my smell. After looking at the many different deodorants and their ingredients in my bathroom drawer, I tossed them all and decided to…
