POPS of Color

The transition from Winter to Spring is not only seen outdoors but with our wardrobes as well. Our goes our winter wear like heavy coats, dark jewel tones and warm boots and in comes shortsleeves, bright colors and patterns. I love a good neutral but POPS of color always catch my eye.

Since I was in high school, I’ve coveted Lilly Pulitzer pieces. They are a huge investment so I opt for pieces that I LOVE and know I get lots of wear out of. This dress from Lilly always gets lots of compliments. It’s so flattering and I wear it a lot in the warmer months. It’s sold out but, you can find the similar styles here, here and here. I wore it last year in Mother’s Day pictures when I was pregnant and it still looked so cute!

One of my favorite toddler brands when the weather warms up is June and January. Their clothes are basic staples for the kiddos wardrobe and come in a rainbow of colors. I recently blogged about them here. Their recent spring release was ahhhmazing and I stock piled the peplum shirts, ballet tops, varsity shorts and pocket tees. I seriously cannot quit them!

I hope you take the time to checkout both of these brands. They make wonderful, bright and great quality clothing. We wore our outfits to the beach to shop and eat dinner at Tupelo Honey! If you ever get the chance, try the crispy Brussel sprouts with ranch. It’s so good!
