Postpartum Self Care From a Mom of Six

    August 2, 2022 /

I am six weeks postpartum with my sixth baby and during this season of life, it’s so clear that being a mom is hard and lovely all at once. How to shop for produce at the grocery store

    January 21, 2022 /

Would anyone like help shopping healthy at the grocery store? I remember when I first decided to eat better and was walking the aisles of the grocery store. My mind was spinning, I was so confused, and I couldn’t even make choices to put in my cart. I was seriously considering backing out of this health change. January 8, 2022 /

Did you know that composting is actually really easy once you get the vehicle right?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Ya know what I’m referring too, what you keep the scraps and things in? I tried all the things and almost gave up composting until I found Subpod. It’s an easy garden compost bin that keeps the smell at bay and is a great place to breed earthworms within your bed! Composting… what’s the big deal? Composting enriches soil, helping retain moisture and suppress plant diseases and pests. It reduces the need for chemical fertilizers and encourages the production of beneficial bacteria and fungi that break down organic matter to create humus, a rich nutrient-filled material.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀The…

What does drinking from a copper vessel do for your health?

    April 29, 2021 /

Did you know that drinking from a copper vessel has health benefits? I didn’t until I saw it on my friend, Laura’s instagram stories (follow her instagram account here -> @livingearthyoga ) I’ve seen people wearing copper for its health benefits but never drinking water from copper vessels. Come to find out, there are SO MANY health benefits! I ordered my own copper vessel and these cute little cups that match, a few months ago and I’ve drank water from it every day since. I fill it up from our filter and store in the fridge. The Ayurvedic practice of drinking water that has sat in a copper vessel overnight…
