Why I Think Every Mom Should Own An Ergo Adapt
The most common phrase people say to me when they find out how many kids I have is “I just don’t know how you do it.” Honestly y’all, MOM LIFE IS HARD. Being a parent is HARD, no matter how many children you have. I personally feel like having one child as first time mom was the biggest struggle of my life, and then I had two and I thought that was the hardest thing ever and so on and so forth. Here I am today, as a mom of five amazing children and I want to share one of my best tips for how I keep my sanity and…

The Down Low on Baby Wearing
Baby wearing is something that I do every single day. It’s how I accomplish cleaning, cooking or running errands. I didn’t know a thing about baby wearing until Nolan was about 6 months old and wow it is a total game changer for a mom. It is the practice of wearing or carrying a baby in a sling or in another form of carrier. It has been practiced for centuries around the world. By baby wearing, I am able to accomplish so much more because my babies will sleep peacefully verses just cry every time I tried to lay them down and do anything. I could clean my house, get…

Babywearing Gives Me LIFE
Hey ya’ll! I hope your Tuesday is going great. This week has started off really crazy and there is probably not a chance it will go back to normal. I swear, Mercy spoiled me with sleeping through the night. The past two nights (early morning) she has woken up and been awake for about an hour and a half. It’s been in the 3:30am time so I am a zombie by the time 7am comes around. I think that’s when I am in my deepest sleep so that’s why I am so tired by the time we actually get up and start the day. She isn’t crying when she wakes…

Babywearing is something that I do every single day. It’s how I accomplish cleaning, cooking or running errands. I have used an Ergo with each of my Little’s and it’s because it’s my favorite “go-to” carrier. When the Baby Cubby reached out to me about testing out the Ergo 360, I couldn’t resist! I’ve never owned this carrier and I was excited to see the difference in it and a regular Ergo. At some point, your little is going to become fascinated with the world and want to constantly look around. This is when the Ergo 360 comes in handy! When your baby can hold his or her head…

Real men wear babies.
I admire the type of dad who understands how important being a FATHER is. The dads who take on their roles without holding back. The dads who spend their extra time with their kids, change countless diapers without complaint, engage in endless tickle fights, and walk around the house at night until the baby is asleep. My husband is my superhero. I have never seen a man take on as much time with his kids as Derrek. When I had Nolan, I didn’t change his diapers until two days after he was born when we got home from the hospital because Derrek had that area covered. He never asks me…
