    Boho Chic

Boho chic has become my favorite style to wear. I’ve always thought of myself as someone having fashion schizophrenia as I’ve always liked to change my style from day to day. Now that I’ve seen most of my looks on the blog, I realize how much I lean towards Boho. This is how I feel most comfortable–with a kimono and my fringe booties. I haven’t purchased any other fall items for my wardrobe other than shoes and kimonos! If anyone has been standoffish from Boho chic looks, please set your conflicted feelings aside and try on an outfit. I think you’ll be surprised at how comfortable and cute you look!…

    Southern Mama Mermaid

Mama Mermaid Ring-Sling – seafoam Baby wearing is our go-to to get things accomplished. How do women in tribes in Africa get the work they need done? They wear their babies. Those times when your baby wants to be held but you really need to cook, get ready, take care of your other kids, run errands, etc…those are the perfect times to put on your baby carrier and go on about your day. Baby wearing is also helpful when you have a teething or a fussy baby. Within minutes of being worn, my  kids have always fallen asleep. Recently, Harper’s molars started coming in aka operation spider-monkey is in full…

    The Watermelon Crawl

Hey y’all! I hope y’all had a great weekend–I know I did–and aren’t having to much of a weekend hangover this Monday! Last weekend I heard about a Watermelon Festival nearby and after being couped up working all week, I convinced Derrek that we really needed to go. I’m a festival junkie…I’m really obsessed with them. I actually have the ones around us marked down in my planner so we don’t miss out on any of the fun. We’ve been to the Pecan, Strawberry, Peanut, Tobacco, Peach, Wooden Boat, and Food Truck Festivials just to name a few. Last Saturday we headed to Fair Bluff, NC and braved the heat for…
