Southern Mama Mermaid

Mama Mermaid Ring-Sling – seafoam

Baby wearing is our go-to to get things accomplished. How do women in tribes in Africa get the work they need done? They wear their babies. Those times when your baby wants to be held but you really need to cook, get ready, take care of your other kids, run errands, etc…those are the perfect times to put on your baby carrier and go on about your day. Baby wearing is also helpful when you have a teething or a fussy baby. Within minutes of being worn, my  kids have always fallen asleep.

Recently, Harper’s molars started coming in aka operation spider-monkey is in full effect. Calling her a mama’s girl at this point doesn’t even cover Harper’s need for me the past few months. I am so thankful that I’ve had several options of baby wearing devices to wear her in so I can get things accomplished and soothe her at the same time. I’ve had a few mamas talk to me about their children being very “needy,” and it’s true, it happens. As moms, we are natural soothers for our children. Having your hands free makes it less frustrating to be needed so much, and it really does de-stress you and your baby.

I’ve fallen in love with the Mama Mermaid brand of ring slings, and I suggest that anyone with an infant or toddler should have one handy! They can fix the stickiest of situations, and the beautiful colors make it easy to complement your wardrobe versus hide it. Another reason I love Mama Mermaid brand is because the amazing quality you get without break the bank. I hope ya’ll try the experience for yourself and fall in love with hands free snuggling.
