#takethejob Girl’s Night Out Opportunity Event

Wednesday night, I led my first Beautycounter opportunity event with the help of one of my mentors and founding member of Beautycounter, Christi Hucks, and one of my teammates, Stephinee Guerrero. This event was for Beautycounter consultants to come out and bring people that they’ve wanted on their Beautycounter teams to chat about taking the job. The job is hands down the best product that Beautycounter makes so being able to showcase that means so much to me! That night was amazing and I am so happy that I was able to go celebrate and talk about safer beauty with so many wonderful women. When I say that Beautycounter changes…

    Beautycounter Holiday 2017

The Beautycounter 2017 Holiday Sets exceeded my wildest dreams this year! I had the chance to see these up close and personal weeks before they launched, while I was on my Beautycounter trip in California. My eyes were as big as cups when I saw them! It reminded me of an Oprah show taping where she surprised the entire audience with free products. It was unlike anything I had ever experienced. I had been a consultant for just under a year when sets came out last year. They went over the top last year by releasing 2 amazing makeup palettes in addition to several new gloss colors and specially priced…

My Trip to Four Seasons the Biltmore in Santa Barbara

As many of you have seen via my social media, I visited Santa Barbara at the beginning of September. The trip was special to me for many reasons: it was the first time away from my children, I was around inspiring and powerful women,  being able to stay at Four Seasons the Biltmore (duh) and being treated like a queen, eating organic amazing food and knowing that I earned this FREE trip because I worked my butt off for three months and my Beautycounter business is proof of it. I decided to join the Beautycounter movement after trying countless “organic” and “natural” products and being unimpressed by their performance and/or…

My Makeup Routine with Three Little’s

dress | shoes | makeup As a mom, I tend to put myself last. Everything that I try to do for myself always falls to the back burner and I end up tapped out and raising my white flag. I rarely get out of yoga pants and a comfy vneck tshirt but when I do decide to leave the house, I am thankful for a quick makeup routine that helps me look a little less like a mombie. When Derrek and I actually had a date (these don’t happen enough and I want to make sure we do this more often) last weekend, I was able to dress up and…

    Revolutionary Safer Hair Care

Many of you don’t know that I suffer from psoriasis. Most of the time I can keep it at bay but there are different environmental factors that trigger it. When I wash my hands with bathroom handsoaps, get a pedicure, after I leave my hair appointments or use a hair product with the ingredient “fragrance.” The term “fragrance” (aka “parfum”) can be used for any number of aromatic chemical concoctions. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, over 5,000 different fragrance chemicals — in countless combinations — are used in products today. While every other specific ingredient used in personal care products must, by law, be listed…
