Babywearing – a Motherhood Must
Babywearing is something that I do every single day. It’s how I accomplish cleaning, cooking or running errands. Looking back at being a first time mom, I really struggled more than I needed to because I didn’t babywear but I didn’t know anything about it at that point. During the newborn phase, there is nothing better than putting on a wrap and feeling your little squish pressed against you like they are still in the womb. Derrek and myself have started babywearing more and more after each baby we add to the family. I started wearing Scarlet Reese the day after she was born and would wear her pretty much…

Why Yes, There’s Deodorant In My Purse…
This whole mom of five thing is a new world to learn y’all! I find myself asking for grace more times than I can count and realizing I might not ever have things go “as planned” again. Something Scary Happened…
Something happened that I never in a million years expected. This story begins last Wednesday when I noticed that Vivi was developing a cough that the other kids had been passing around (thank you school germs.) Vivi is my fifth baby and I’ve had several years experience with my babies having coughs, colds, congestion… the flu. I figured this was just something I need to monitor and would pass in a few days. I’m breastfeeding and those antibodies that your milk makes normally covers your little. Fast forward to Sunday night. I walked passed Vivi in her baby swing and did a double take. She was grey. Like, her coloring…

Self Care Simplicity
Heyyyyy ya’ll! I wanted to take the time to give you an update before I get to the meat and potatoes of this blog post. Since I gave birth to Vivi, I’ve been taking it easy and haven’t worked as much as normal. I’ve also had a lot of time to think about what content I’ve been producing and realized that I was focused on getting quantity content out verses quality. After simmering on this for a little while I’ve decided to stop trying to share so much on my blog so that it’s seen more and focus on quality posts that are shared 1-2 times a week. It’s hard…

Ch- Ch- Ch- Chia Pudding Recipe
Healthy recipes can be hard to formulate, I know for me personally I do a lot of trial and error with what’s in the fridge and pantry. This one has been a favorite of mine and my littles for several years. I used to make this when Nolan was a little sweet sugar of a three year old. My chia seed pudding is something I formulated after making it a few different ways. It’s SUPER simple, healthy and easy! Chia seeds are filled with omega 3 fats, fiber and energy INGREDIENTS: Bag of dried chia seeds (I buy in bulk at Costco) Almond, coconut or oat milk maple syrup…
