Living My Best Life Thanks to Vitamins

This has got to be one of my most asked about topics. Supplements. Vitamins. Ya’ll always want to know what I suggest taking and why. Let me just start off by saying, I have researched different things and I just sharing my experiences and my findings. I always suggest you doing your own research, especially if you feel like what I share is lacking the information you need to make a decision.

I honestly, never took supplements until after I had Nolan. My body felt depleted and I couldn’t figure out a way to fix it. That’s another reason that I’ve focused on my health so much. After having a baby and nursing you need to invest in yourself. Some people don’t need to take vitamin supplements because they are able to get all the vitamins and minerals they need by eating a healthy, balanced diet. Vitamins and minerals are essential nutrients, such as iron, calcium and vitamin C, that your body needs in small amounts to work properly. If you feel like you aren’t one of those people. It’s ok! Recognize it and start your journey into the vitamin world.

On a regular basis I take the following: a probiotic, vitamin B12, beef liver and my Ritual Vitamins.

Probiotics are live microorganisms that may be able to help prevent and treat some illnesses. Promoting a healthy digestive tract and a healthy immune system are their most widely studied benefits at this time. These are also commonly known as friendly, good, or healthy bacteria. I take a probiotic with 100 billion CFUs to not only but to clear my skin. Acne issues often start on the inside so healing them with a probiotic can be very helpful. The probiotic that I am loving right now is one that I buy from Amazon. I recently switched from Garden of Life to Power Probiotic. This is vegetable based, dairy, and gluten free.

As a mom of four, I’ve come to lean on natural sources of energy because… I mean. I need all of the help that I can get. Vitamin B12 also helps prevent a type of anemia called megaloblastic anemia that makes people tired and weak. I recently purchased this brand from Amazon. I will keep you updated on how well it works for me.

Ok… don’t let me freak you out by saying that I take beef liver. It’s really not as gross as it sounds. I am a huge fan of Vital Proteins and I saw that they made beef liver capsules so I decided to look into it. I ended up loving them SO much that I wrote an entire blog about them. My placenta capsules recently ran out so I am relying heavily on the Vital Proteins Beef Liver capsules again. You can read the blog that breaks down why I take beef liver capsules here.

The last part of my daily vitamin roundup is from a company called Ritual vitamins. I love that they have found a way to not only source ethically but combine all your daily needs into one capsule. I always hate trying to choke down a ton of capsules but these are not hard to swallow at all. You take two capsules a day and thats it! Each capsule contains, vitamin K2, vitamin D3, vitamin B12, Boron, Iron, Vitamin E, Magnesium, Folate and Omega- 3. It couldn’t have been made any easier for you to get your daily needs with the help of these! I love how they give me an extra PERK me up with peppermint oil as well. These cost $30 per month, free shipping and you can cancel at any time. I love the ease of knowing they will show up before my monthly amount runs out.

I hope that you found this helpful. The vitamins I listed above help me out SO much with my daily needs and I am so excited to share them with you so that they can do the same for you. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!
