Little’s Style — This One’s For the Girls

Summer is FLYING by but the warm temps will stay in South Carolina for months to come. For this reason, you won’t see me posting much about “Fall” clothing because I know that wont even be something I need to deal with until Novemberish. Until then, we will enjoy our beach days and pool time AND summer clothing. I am such a sucker for bright colors but muted neutrals have stolen my heart because they will transition into the next few months seamlessly. I’ve found that it is actually really difficult to find dressy clothing for the girls that don’t have tons of sequins, ruffles or are entirely uncomfortable for them to wear. For this reason, I LOVE shopping small for nicer items.

When I was little, I remember HATING having to get dressed up to go places and it was because I felt SO uncomfortable in what I was wearing. I’ve kept that in mind when I pick out clothes for my children and I have found that they love wearing everything they have… #momwin. I want to keep my blog as real as possible and sharing what clothing we wear is apart of that. Motherhood shouldn’t be made any harder by judgement from others so consider this a judgement free zone! What works for my family doesn’t necessarily work for others so know that modifying your parenting style is important and is always evolving.

Harper LOVES wearing dresses and she loves for her sister to match her! Those two things make getting ready for the day much easier. Regardless of her wearing a Princess nightgown, dress up dress, comfy t-shirt dress or one of these from Wren and James, she is happy. I strive to not buy TO much clothing for the kids because lets be real, they don’t wear half of it and I am always stuck folding loads of laundry. I decided to invest in quality pieces for their wardrobes that are easily matched with others. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEE these linen dresses from Wren and James because not only are they SO soft and adorable but the girls can wear them any day of the week, including going to dressier events. Finding dresses like this can be really hard and I personally don’t have the time to waste searching all over the internet.
