    Capsule Wardrobe via Colored Organics

One of my resolutions for the upcoming year is the live more simple. This means not accumulating so many “things” and the biggest  part of that is children’s clothing. For me personally, buying clothes for the kids is something that I am addicted too. Whenever I go to Target, GAP, H&M, etc, I am smacked in the face with an overwhelming amount of cute outfits and my brain doesn’t process that each of my kid’s clothing drawers are overflowing and no one ever sees half the stuff that they wear. Derrek shakes his head every time he tries to put clothes up because there isn’t a space to shove anything else…

Walmart Family Mobile PLUS plan – movie night

This has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser, Walmart Family Mobile. All opinions are mine alone. #DataAndAMovie #CollectiveBias. Living in the country has changed the way that we use things, things that you might never consider–like the internet. Out here, there is no broadband service, and for us, that means no streaming movies, TV shows or music like Derrek and I used to when we lived in a bigger city. For a while, we really struggled with this. I mean, it is 2016, so connectivity is important! However, thanks to a plan offered by Walmart, we have found ways around our internet barrier. We discovered the Walmart Family Mobile PLUS plan which features…

    Kickee Pants PJs

Whenever I find a great clothing company, I tend fall in love head first! Kickee Pants has become one of those companies. I found out about them from one of my mom blogger friends, and when Kickee Pants asked me about the possibility of working together, I jumped at the chance! Kickee Pants spoiled my littles with the softest new pajamas and undies. I really love this company because they make their pieces with bamboo. Our sheets are also bamboo and are the reason I could lay in them for days, so I know the clothes must feel amazing! Bamboo is the softest material, and I honestly have trouble refraining…

    Finding Our Happy Place

rug | felt food | crochet dolls | wall decals | t-shirts | toy bins As a stay at home mom, I sometimes feel like the hours inch by during the week. This Monday was the Mondayest Monday of all Mondays. Both of the kids have the sniffles, we were out of eggs (huge ordeal because we eat them daily), Harper peed on the floor a few times (yay for potty training), and I forgot about a prenatal appointment that I had that day. Determined to not let it get me down, I added Acceptance oil to the diffusers and took the kids upstairs to play chef in Harper’s room.…

    A girl and her Doll…

Harper’s room is one of my favorite rooms in our house – you can get the links to the décor in her room HERE. It’s so bright and girlie, I love the shades of pinks and gold in there. When we get some girl time, we often head up there and play. I love that each of my kids have their own space and they each truly enjoy it! Harper just got her new doll from Amelia’s Kisses and has been carrying her around everywhere! The quality of the crochet dolls she has from Amelia’s Kisses blows me away and they have truly found a home with our little girl. When Harper brushes her…
