Hi, I’m Amanda... wife, mama of seven, and an Integrative Health Practitioner passionate about helping women create healthy, grace-filled rhythms for their homes, hormones, and families.

For the past 13+ years I’ve walked the path of holistic living... from learning first hand about the importance of postpartum recovery and how to balance hormones naturally, to running a busy, joy-filled home without losing peace (or breaking the bank).

On this blog you’ll find simple, research-backed wellness tips, biblical encouragement, real-life mom hacks, and tools that help you care well for yourself and your family.

If you’re ready to trade overwhelm for clarity and live with intention in your health, home, and faith... you’re in the right place.

Hanging Out in the “Flamingo Room”

    March 22, 2017 /

washable rug | floor pillow | Scarlet Reese’s Pajamas | Hair Bows Pom Pom Baskets | Pom Pom Garland I hope y’all are having a great Wednesday. This post was supposed to go live on Tuesday but #momlife. I had the best intentions set out for this day and they were completely flipped upside down when I went to take Nolan to school. Locked my keys in my house and had all the kids in the car with no way to get back in or go anywhere. A few other things happened and I cried for a few hours but alas, everything is taking a turn for the better. The struggle…

Lorena Canals Washable Rug For the Win

    December 28, 2016 /

My kitchen is a place of solace for me. I spend countless hours preparing food for myself and my family every day. Sadly, it’s the place that often gets looked over when it comes to updating. I am working on changing that, little by little, because it is a place that I spend so much time in. Student loans kill our bank account and so that keeps me in check when it comes to re-doing something in our house. I’ve been lucky enough to work with a few companies to help spruce up this area and it is finally coming together. Something that I knew that I wanted for our…

    Finding Our Happy Place

    April 5, 2016 /

rug | felt food | crochet dolls | wall decals | t-shirts | toy bins As a stay at home mom, I sometimes feel like the hours inch by during the week. This Monday was the Mondayest Monday of all Mondays. Both of the kids have the sniffles, we were out of eggs (huge ordeal because we eat them daily), Harper peed on the floor a few times (yay for potty training), and I forgot about a prenatal appointment that I had that day. Determined to not let it get me down, I added Acceptance oil to the diffusers and took the kids upstairs to play chef in Harper’s room.…

    Morning Sweetness

    January 13, 2016 /

Now that Nolan does a school lesson every morning, I make sure that he has his own space, and I get Harper set up in another room so they are out of each other’s hair for a little while. Harper normally gets a snack and picks out a book to read in her My Pello floor pillow for kids and is content during the time Nolan is working on his lesson. I really love their playroom; I tried to keep in mind what actually happens in there – lots and lots of messes. So it’s somewhat of a Montessori style room – very minimal so they actually play with the toys…
