    Banana Cream Smoothie

Now that a new chapter has started in my life as a mother of three, I am changing up my habits, including breakfast. Out goes pancakes and eggs for breakfast and in comes smoothies again! Everything that I do now that Scarlet Reese is here is quick and easy. Smoothies have always been a favorite of the kids so they always get excited when I bring up making them. It’s so easy and quick to throw everything in the blender and blend away verses trying to worry about cooking four different things at once while keeping everyone from crying. Not only is it easy but it’s really healthy! We always…

    Post Partum Feels

Now that the third trimester has finally ended, welcome to the fourth trimester! This one is all about mommy. Alongside dealing with body issues like post partum bleeding, cramping, sore and engorged boobs, you also have to worry abut maintaining your sanity. The next few months are crucial as a new or once again mom because they set the tone for YOU. I recently made a trip to the GAP Factory outlet store while we were in Charleston and…

Now that Scarlet Reese is here, our routine has changed dramatically. Feedings, diaper changes, burping and swaddling have become a part of our everyday lives again. One of the things that can make or break you during the newborn stage is correctly swaddling your little one. The benefits to swaddling have been realized by parents all around the world. Swaddling may lead to longer, sounder sleep, may soothe a crying baby, may reduce the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), helps keep the…

    Scarlet Reese is HERE!

Hey y’all! I know it’s been a while since my last blog, but I am back! I finally had the sweetest baby girl that grew in my belly for 41 weeks! It was the longest pregnancy I’ve ever had, and in the scorching heat of this South Carolina summer, it surely felt like it. We lived in Charleston with my sister at her house with her three kids, her dog, our two dogs, our kids and my mom for the last month of my pregnancy. While I appreciated the support and help during the last few weeks of pregnancy, being away from home for that long was really intense. We…
