I can’t believe it’s March!

I cannot believe it’s already March! I honestly feel like this month is going to fly by and it’s going to be jam packed. As many of you know, I spent the first few days in Washington, DC with Beautycounter. I promise I’ll go into great detail about that trip next week when I can upload the 100+ photos and emotionally talk about everything we did. It was a once in a lifetime trip and I will never be able to go on another that means as that one did.

One of the things that I want to address about my blog is how it doesn’t particularly fit into a specific category. I always want to stay true to myself and never take a paid job from a company that I don’t believe in myself. One of the things that I am seeing repeatedly from other bloggers, especially the more the grow, is how often they take jobs for payment and exposure. 9/10 they do not even use the products themselves and it makes me sad and angry that they are lying to their own readers who trust them like one of their best friends.

I vow to NEVER do that and although it might make my growth WAY slower than theirs, I’ve come to accept that I’m at peace with that because YOU, my readers, put a lot of trust in me and I couldn’t sleep at night if I knew I was lying to you every day. Last weekend, I had the opportunity to talk about this in great depth because a large makeup company contacted me about working together on a rather large paid opportunity and I was around several other ladies that blog. They were blown away when I shared what I did about other bloggers and the fact that I was refusing a job I didn’t believe in and the money that came with it.

I’ll leave you with this. I am NOT perfect. My blog is a space where I try and share the things I am implimenting into my life in all ways and focusing on the nontoxic changes. I do this so that you can see that it doesn’t have to occur overnight and that you can make small changes that will add up to a big impact. I only share things that I actually use, so you don’t have to worry about if they work or not. It wouldn’t make sense to share about products or things in my life unless I saw positive results from them and felt they were important for others.

So, with all of that being said, I want to get back on track and continue to share the things y’all have questions about and things I’ve noticed make big impacts in our health. I don’t have a set schedule at this point because there’s just so much going on. My hope is that sometime in the near future I’ll be back on a blogging schedule. Until then, make sure to send me your topic requests and I’ll cover what y’all wanna hear first and intermix the topics that are close to my heart at the same time.
