I am being very transparent when I say that… I spend A LOT of time in my car. I have five kids in school and activities, own multiple businesses that require me to have in person meetings and then add in any social things I decide to partake in, yuppp, I’ve been in the car all day.
So how in the world do I eat healthy when I am on the go so much? Thankfully, I’ve learned that being prepared with a million choices and not waiting until I am absolutely starving to eat helps me tremendously. I’ve also gotten used to heading into a local space, SC Real Foods, to pick up snacks and healthy meals to go when I need it. I strongly urge you to find a healthy eating spot in your area and try to go there verses fast food spots or gas stations. You heard me.. I know I am not the only one that’s rolled into a gas station for road snacks.
Having healthy snacks with me at all times has really helped me stay on track and not make food decisions based on what’s on the street I am driving down. I do this for my kids as well and it’s been a game changer.
