Ch- Ch- Ch- Chia Pudding Recipe
Healthy recipes can be hard to formulate, I know for me personally I do a lot of trial and error with what’s in the fridge and pantry. This one has been a favorite of mine and my littles for several years. I used to make this when Nolan was a little sweet sugar of a three year old. My chia seed pudding is something I formulated after making it a few different ways. It’s SUPER simple, healthy and easy! Chia seeds are filled with omega 3 fats, fiber and energy
INGREDIENTS:
- Bag of dried chia seeds (I buy in bulk at Costco)
- Almond, coconut or oat milk
- maple syrup to taste
- Optional: fruit and nuts (I personally love berries and almonds)
For my favorite consistancy I use 3 tablespoons chia seeds to one cup of liquid. My personal favorite is chocolate or vanilla almond milk with chia seeds. Let sit overnight. In the morning, before eating, mix with a spoon. Top with your favorite fruit and/or nuts for a healthy and beneficial breakfast!
It is kid approved! How sweet is this throwback picture to Nolan with his curls!?!? Please share with me if you make this! I would love to know your thoughts on how you like it.
