Be Counter in Washington, DC.. part one!
Well… if this hasn’t been the craziest two weeks of my life!!!! I am down right dragging BUT decided to steal a little time away and get this blog series started. It feels really good to just sit in a room and write. I feel like I haven’t been doing anything but packing for two weeks. This month has been jam packed and it all started at the beginning. I worked really hard, along with two other Beautycounter consultants from each state, for the past two months to win a trip to Washington, D.C. This wasn’t just any ole trip y’all… this was the chance to celebrate with Beautycounter as…

Actually, I can!
(my top and boots are from Vici Dolls and are sold out, but I’ve linked similar ones below!) If you’ve followed my blogging journey, then you’ve gotten more than your fair share of personal information about my life. If you are new to my blog, I’d like to share some information with you to give a little background about me. I used to live a really unhealthy lifestyle that I hated. New Years Resolutions 2018
It is so crazy that 2017 has come and gone. Time is flying by at lightening speed and every year brings so many new memories. I never understood the term “time flies” until I had children. They are the perfect example of time, they are growing so quickly in front of my face that it scares me. I love spending my life with them 24/7 but not having any “me time” isn’t healthy. I can look back and see when I’ve…

Motherhood Lately
my top | jeans | boots As many of you know, I am a stay at home mom to three children. Nolan is 5, Harper is 3 and Scarlet Reese is 18 months. When I look at those sweet little faces, I know that there is nothing more important than being their mom. It really blows my mind to go back to my life BEFORE children and how different I was. Everyday, I see more and more how my children have changed me and continuously help me be a better person. I know this seems selfish but, at the end of the day, when you’ve given and given and…

There’s No Place Like Home For the Holidays
How on Earth is it almost the end of November? Y’all, this month has flown by faster than any other in 2017, in my opinion. I feel like we haven’t had the chance to soak up fall like we wanted and now it’s almost winter! It’s hard to contain my excitement because in a few days, I’ll be cooking my own Thanksgiving. I’ve never done this and this will be the first time that it’s just Derrek, myself and the kids and we are really looking forward to it. We always travel to several different Thanksgiving’s on that day and although we enjoy seeing family, we’re so worn out from…
