Walmart Family Mobile PLUS plan – movie night

Living in the country has changed the way that we use things, things that you might never consider–like the internet. Out here, there is no broadband service, and for us, that means no streaming movies, TV shows or music like Derrek and I used to when we lived in a bigger city. For a while, we really struggled with this. I mean, it is 2016, so connectivity is important! However, thanks to a plan offered by Walmart, we have found ways around our internet barrier. We discovered the Walmart Family Mobile PLUS plan which features unlimited talk, text, and 10GB of 4G LTE PLUS a free movie on VUDU ($7 value) every month for $49.88! Having 10GB of 4G LTE has changed the way we get to use the internet, especially when we want to have a family movie night! I thought it might be difficult to use VUDU, but honestly, y’all, it is so easy to connect our smartphone to our TV and stream movies!
As you know from the blog, we’d all been a bit under the weather this past week, so we decided to stay in this weekend and spend some quality time recuperating. What better way to do this than have a movie night that doesn’t cost us any extra!? We let our kids pick out the feature movie our family movie night, and this time, they picked Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip. Of course when we have a movie night, we break out all the snacks! I always make a fresh batch of coconut oil popcorn and we make a snack tray filled with their favorite munchies like pretzels, trail mix and cheddar crackers! The kids love helping me make the snack tray while Daddy sets up the TV in our living room to stream the movie.

We are an internet-based biz, so having extra GBs is a LIFESAVER! We stay busy with a constant flood of emails, updates to our website and social media, and ordering of supplies, and the data comes in super handy for all those things! We also decided to keep the phone with our Walmart Family Mobile Plus plan for a business phone so we can use it to call wholesales, clients and set up events!

We located the Family Mobile plan in the electronic section, the signs posted about the plan were very clear, so it didn’t cause us any confusion when we purchased ours, and we knew exactly what all we were getting. The phone we purchased is on rollback from $39.83 and was only $19.88! You can’t find a much sweeter deal than that! It is the Cool Pad Rogue and has all the features of a regular smartphone. With the phone, we also purchased a Starter Kit which came with a SIM card for the phone and is on rollback from $25 and was only $19.88 this is huge because it is on rollback for the first time ever, cheaper than before, until July 7th. Once we were home, we called the number included in the Starter Kit to set up our Cool Pad Rogue phone. The monthly plan with Unlimited Talk, Text, Data; 10GB 4G LTE plus a free movie (rental, new release = $7 value) on VUDU every month, per line for $49.88 is due at the end of every month, so it wasn’t required to pay with activation. Now we can enjoy our Walmart Family Mobile Plus plan as we please, and having the free movie from VUDU every month sweetens the deal for the entire family. The kids look forward to streaming their favorite shows and movies on the weekends, and we don’t have to worry about not having enough GBs to treat them! Having a family movie night with them has become a tradition in our household and will be something that I never forget doing with my family!
