The Perfect Dress for Your Maternity Wardrobe

It’s crazy how summer just keeps flying by, am I right? Shewww, I feel like it just warmed up and now it’s almost time for school to start again! I know most people normally complain about summer and how awfully hot it is, and trust me, South Carolina feels like we are legit right beside the sun but I love it. I thrive best in summer and especially while pregnant! As long as I can wear a dress, I’m a-oh-k.

There’s a saying that goes “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” And that is the case for my pregnancy staples. I have always been super pregnant during the summer so I guess I’ve learned to adapt, haha. When I was pregnant with Harper it was a very long winter and let me tell ya, maternity jeans make me want to pull my hair out. Since this little babe isn’t due until the end of October, I plan on continuing to wear dresses since it doesn’t really get cold here until November (if we’re lucky).

For now, I’m wearing this fitted tank dress in every color of the rainbow + a kimono and in fall I’ll switch out the kimono for cardigans. These are the perfect staples for any pregnant mama’s wardrobe. They are soft, flattering and very stretchy so it’s like you’re wearing pajamas. I love that I had a few from my last pregnancy and they look BRAND NEW! One of my peeves about maternity clothing is that if you wear them to much they tend to get wash wear easily but with this line by Ingrid and Isabel they don’t!

No matter what stage of pregnancy or season, these are must for all my mama’s to be. I suggest grabbing as many as possible and wearing with kimonos and cardigans to switch them up (to a point that you could even wear them multiple times a week, ha!) If you’ve purchased them before, please share how you like them and if you decide to purchase now, please tag me in your social media posts. I would love to see your style.
