Sweet Sugar Thanks to Playtex

Oh man, I cannot believe that my sweet Mercy girl is 14 weeks old now! She is growing by leaps and bounds and everyday she does something new. I am exclusively breastfeeding her but I try really hard to not let her fall asleep while nursing. I don’t want her to become dependent on falling asleep ONLY with me verses if Derrek is home and trying to get her to sleep. For some reason, Nolan and Harper never took a pacifier and I think it’s because I let them fall asleep nursing every single time. Scarlet Reese was the only child other than Mercy that would suck on a pacifier from time to time and she was a lot easier for other people to get to sleep. Looking back, I can now form connections to those things.

I’ve tried a wide range of pacifiers for baby Mercy and so far, her favorites are the Binky® Pacifiers from Playtex Baby™. Their pacifiers are designed to simulate the shape of mother’s nipple for child’s soothing comfort. I have a feeling that this is why she likes them so much. Don’t get me wrong, she nurses A LOT and I don’t force a pacifier on her but during times when she is trying to fall asleep, she likes the sucking motion of a pacifier. The Binky® pacifiers help babies to self-soothe by satisfying their natural sucking instincts. So far so good with this brand and her falling asleep. She is such a sweet baby and I am glad that Derrek can take a turn with her during her nap times. It’s even more so a great relief knowing that if Derrek and I want to go out on a date that the babysitter can soothe her to sleep as well.

If you haven’t tried the Binky® Pacifiers from Playtex Baby, I strongly suggest trying with your little one. If you click on the links in this post, you will receive a 15% off code for your purchase. Please let me know how your experience is with these. I would love to hear your feedback!
