Life with three children can be very hectic but is so rewarding at the same time. I have learned to appreciate both sides of the coin. Being a mom is the most important thing that I could ever be and I want my children to know how much they are loved. When the older two kids are on a playdate with their friends, I like to spend one-on-one time with Scarlet Reese. She is all over the place because she is crawling, standing and could start walking any day. Not only that, but, she has four new teeth, so, life has been really interesting lately to say the least. The other day, I took her in the playroom and let her explore and find toys that she wanted to play with. Life isn’t always structured when you have kids and learning to go with the flow has been such a lifesaver in my day-to-day life. Just sitting in the playroom, letting her snuggle me and be silly with her toys was exactly what we both needed that day. She has recently learned how to say “UH OH” and every time she drops something she says it over and over. It makes my heart swell with happiness and really makes me know that THIS is what life is all about. As a #PlaytexMom, I think a lot about #forbetterbeginnings. It’s easy to forget how special all the little “firsts” are so that’s why it’s really important for me to document them. I might not have all of their baby memory books filled out but I do make sure that I take videos of special moments so that over the years we can all look at them and remember that moment in time. Learning to be present and not perfect is such a great life lesson for us all as mothers. You can choose to start fresh every day and have a better beginning at any moment. It’s so nice to hit the reset button when things get crazy and remember what the bigger purpose is. You are raising children and as their mom, you are the apple of their eye.
