Ya’ll! Winter is here and it is NOT playing around! It went from breezy fall to freezing cold REALLY quick. There is nothing left to do but embrace it and that for me is chunky sweaters. Fashion this time of year really makes me happy because of the different textures we can play with. The fringe on my sweater, the zippers on my pants and the suede on my heels are all my favs wrapped up in a pretty bow.
As a mom I want to look fashionable without breaking the bank. Kids get expensive. I just don’t have the luxury of having expensive clothing for the most part. I would rather sit that money aside for savings or for my kids. Sometimes, I do splurge on items but when I find a good deal, I cannot pass it up. We went to Walmart last week to buy Christmas lights and I passed by this sweater and back tracked. YES, ya’ll… my sweater is from Walmart and is actually on sale for $16!!!! Holy smokes. I cannot believe it. I actually bought it in 3 colors because I liked it so much. I will share that with all of my winter sweaters and cardigans I do not dry them in the dryer (I hate static and I feel like this helps with longevity of wear). In my laundry room I bought a dryer rack (also from Walmart) and I hang or lay clothing on it to dry. My mom has always done this so I followed suit and it really does help save my clothes.
The brand of this sweater is Time and Tru and there is actually A LOT of cute pieces available at Walmart and online. We are going on a vacation to the mountains in a few weeks so I picked up a few pair of the crushed velvet joggers to wear while we are there as well. Whatever you do, if you’re a Walmart shopper or not, make sure to check out this brand and see for yourself how cute the pieces are!
