It’s a GIRL

My 20 week prenatal appointment was this week and along with that, we were able to find out that the baby cooking in my belly is a GIRL! I am so excited and over the moon. I love little boys and little girls the same, but it’s just such an excitement finding out exactly what we are having. I have mostly everything that I need, but now I get to buy a few cute girlie items to dress her in! Derrek and I are still working on her name, and we won’t tell what we decide until she is born. It’s our way of surprising our family and friends!

I have decided that I want to have this baby at the Charleston Birth Place. While we were in Charleston, we decided to go downtown and enjoy the beautiful weather. It has warmed up SO much since the weekend, and we are NOT complaining at all. After my appointment, we ate lunch and enjoyed cupcakes on King Street then walked around and explored. We found this little courtyard and the kids ran around and picked azaleas. I decided to wear my new dress from EcoVibe Apparel and I had several people come up to me and ask where it came from! I love this little body con black dress because I can wear it now and also when I am not pregnant. I wore it with a kimono and booties and it was the perfect outfit for our day! I know as the weather warms up, I will be able to wear and style it numerous ways, and I am really excited about having it as a staple in my wardrobe.
