Chargoals and Why You Need It

Good morning and happy Monday ya’ll! I don’t know about you but the weekend was NOT long enough and I am wishing for more time to lounge around in bed. Since it’s an up and at ’em type of day because of school drop offs and pick ups, I do have a small amount of time to focus on myself. One thing that I always do now that I am 30 is make the time for my skincare regime. This is something I never focused on over the years and man, if I could only turn back time.

The importance of a good skincare routine is astonishing. Proper skin care helps to keep our outermost surface layer of skin intact. This layer maintains skin’s overall hydration and serves as our primary defense against the environment, so keeping it strong and healthy is critical. Using a proper skin care regimen daily can help preserve this important protective layer. For this reason, I use the entire Beautycounter Countercontrol line and you can read more about that by clicking here.

I also am obsessed with the Balancing charcoal products by Beautycounter. I use the Balancing facial oil, mist, bar and mask on a regular basis and my skin LOVES me for it. I do want to share that I have oily and acne prone skin so if you do not then please reach out to me and let me help you find the best skincare line for your skin type. If you don’t have oily and acne skin, you can still use the Balancing products – specifically the mask and I’ll share how.

I’ve implemented the No. 3 Balancing Facial Mask 2 to 3 times a week for intensive treatment and instant results. This nutrient-rich kaolin clay mask purifies and balances, absorbing excess oil and drawing out impurities. Activated charcoal minimizes the appearance of pores, giving
skin a smooth, polished appearance while salicylic acid stimulates exfoliation. The key ingredients really help take this mask’s benefits over the edge.

Charcoal Powder: rich in natural minerals to help balance and purify.
Salicylic Acid: helps with cell turnover to smooth and refine skin.
Lactic Acid: gently exfoliates and smooths skin’s surface.

How to use: Apply an even layer to clean skin. Let dry for 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with warm water. Use 2-3 times per week. Can also be used as a spot treatment.

Ya’ll, since I’ve started using this in my weekly routine, it is not only like a mini facial but it has helped my skin become more smooth, less oily, and have a more even tone. If you don’t believe me, let’s take a look of a two week consumer study.
IN AN INDEPENDENT CONSUMER STUDY, AFTER 2 WEEKS OF USE*:
-97% said mask refined and smoothed skin.
-94% said mask absorbed excess oil.
-87% said mask detoxified pores and purified skin.
-87% said mask helped clarify complexion.
-84% said mask made skin look clearer and more even-toned.

If you do not have acne and oily prone skin, you can still use this mask. I have found that it has helped with several other issues but these are my personal experiences along with my clients.
-as a bug bite reliever
-apply under arms to help detox pits
-use on molluscum spots and leave on over night

I would love to chat with you and help you get the Balancing facial mask into your weekly routine. You will LOVE it and it’s a way to have a spa treatment at home which has been such a great blessing for me to do.
