Banana Cream Smoothie

Now that a new chapter has started in my life as a mother of three, I am changing up my habits, including breakfast. Out goes pancakes and eggs for breakfast and in comes smoothies again! Everything that I do now that Scarlet Reese is here is quick and easy. Smoothies have always been a favorite of the kids so they always get excited when I bring up making them. It’s so easy and quick to throw everything in the blender and blend away verses trying to worry about cooking four different things at once while keeping everyone from crying. Not only is it easy but it’s really healthy! We always add a scoop of protein powder to our smoothies to get extra good stuff while we enjoy our sweet treats.

The Baby Booster brand has been a favorite of mine during pregnancy and with all the good nutrients jam packed into it, I see it important to continue to use while breastfeeding and for the kids as well. It contains 20 grams of non GMO protein on top of being dairy free which is really important for me to find while I am breastfeeding. The Baby Booster protein powders are also gluten free and soy free so they are great for anyone avoiding those ingredients in their diet. The problem with most protein powders is they aren’t as strict with their ingredients and I end up not being able to use them – especially while breastfeeding. It’s so comforting finding an option that works to benefit my body during this phase and not against it. We enjoy all of the flavors from Baby Booster and have made smoothie bowls, popsicles and even waffles with the powder.

At this point, I wanted to find a quick and delicious way for us to all enjoy breakfast. The Tahitian Vanilla protein powder worked perfectly for that and we made a simple but tasty breakfast treat. The kids couldn’t eat theirs fast enough and asked for seconds. I was just thankful for a few moments of peace to enjoy mine while they were occupied. Head over to the Baby Booster website and check out the flavors. All of them are amazing but the sample packets are the best way to go if you cannot decide which one you should try first!
