Baby Number Three
WE’RE HAVING A BABY! Ahhhhh! I just cannot believe it! My heart is so wonderfully full. I really enjoy every single day knowing that there is a little being in my belly. We always knew we wanted more children, and we decided to let God take control in it, so another baby Scott will be here this summer. I really do love the entire process of pregnancy and birth–MINUS the morning sickness, or as I like to call it, all-day sickness. I’ve been really sick this pregnancy hence why I haven’t blogged as much as I’d like, but I feel like I have it semi-under control now. (I’ll talk about my first trimester must-haves later this week!) Other than that I feel sort of normal… very, very, very tired–like I could sleep for days and not feel rested. I’ve been napping with Harper during the day so I can make it til night when we work and watch whatever shows recorded that day.
There’s still a lot of time left (I’m still pretty early on – getting a better estimate of baby arrival this month at my OB appointment), but I’m pretty set on having a homebirth this go round. I had hospital births with our past two kids, and I just feel like this would make me most comfortable. I really want to enjoy the process versus not trying to have the baby in the car, haha. The kids know about the baby, and Nolan literally tells EVERYONE, so that’s why our little secret didn’t ask for long. For now, Harper isn’t really old enough to understand and as far as she is concerned SHE is still the baby. I’m sure once I start bumpin’, her tune will change and especially when she feels the kicks and movements. I’m really interested in seeing her become a big sister and Nolan become a big brother for the second time. He is so sweet to Harper (for the most part), and I really enjoy hearing his conversations with her. I cannot imagine our house as the years go on!
After I told my sister-in-law, Tamara, she asked if she could take some pictures of us to celebrate! We found the coolest little space right down the road from our house. One of the many perks of living out in the country! She is giving anyone (we are located in South Carolina) that sends her an email and mentions my blog $10 off of a mini session. I really love mini sessions because you get a great amount of pictures for a fraction of the price. You can contact her via email at [email protected].
