Happy day after Halloween y’all! I am finding that it’s always so magical this time of year because of the kids. I’ve always loved fall but when you have kids it takes it to another level. Halloween is probably more fun for them than Christmas because we try to make it to as many fall festivals as possible which means, lots of wear of their costumes. I’ve been searching for a good quality dress up costume company and I was so excited to find Little Adventures Dress Ups.
Little Adventures Dress Ups makes costumes not only for kids but the entire family… even dollies! Harper LOVES the fact that she can dress up like Belle and so can her doll. Ever since we watched Beauty and the Beast together, she has wanted a Belle dress so it was a no brainer to pick this one for her. The quality is top notch and I love that we can wash her princess dress and not worry about it falling apart. This is important because she wears it almost every single day and she isn’t the neatest little kid so being able to wash it is a big ‘MUST!’ As a matter of fact, she wore it three times this past week and I washed it this morning and she has it on again! haha It’s also a price point that wont break the bank at $29.99. I know that princess dresses can be quite expensive so all around, I love that we found the Little Adventures Dress Ups website.
Aside from Harper loving her princess dresses, Nolan LOVES playing dress up as well. He is really into all superheroes but he recently formed an obsession with Star Wars. He and Harper run around the house in their costumes all day and I think that it is SO cute. Nolan takes on his character roles very seriously, almost a Hollywood actor, if I do say so myself. When he wears this costume, he is not ‘Nolan,’ but ‘Luke!” I cannot believe how big he is getting and especially when he runs around in full superhero mode. This cloak is perfect for your little Star Wars fanatic and would be a great addition to any Christmas list. As a matter of fact, I have actually shopped for a few more dress up options for Nolan from Santa *wink wink.* You can’t forget about the little boys in your life when it comes to dress up, because they do love it just as much as the girls!
Halloween, can also be a stressful time for us mama’s because of sugar overload. I have noticed that candy is given to kids SO much more these days and ‘Trick-Or-Treating’ plays a big role in that. My kids LOVE going ‘Trick-Or-Treating’ and trying to eat their weight in candy BUT I limit the candy and replace a lot of it with healthier options. One of our new favorites is the Wedderspoon Honey Lollipops. Not only are they made with real and healthy ingredients but they taste amazing and my entire family loves them. The kids were happy to replace most of their candy with these and have their little stash to grab when they get a special treat from me. You can view the different Wedderspoon Honey Lollipops by visiting their website. These are great to keep on hand for little treats or bribes and won’t make them go crazy from a sugar overload.
