All of our requests may not always be feasible, but when they are, they make them happen. Like this! One of the top product requests from consultants for a while now has been has been for more exfoliating skin care products. Reflect Effect AHA mask is just that – it exfoliates and refines skin texture, leaving your skin soft, smooth, and glowing.

I’ve gotten a lot of questions on why exfoliating is beneficial, how to use this mask, and more, so I wanted to address a couple of the common FAQ’s for you below.

WHAT SKIN TYPE IS AHA SMOOTHING FACIAL MASK BEST FOR?

This mask is suitable for most skin types. Due to the acid content in the formula, this mask may be too strong for some with sensitive skin. If you have sensitive skin, it is recommend to do a patch test on the back of your neck or inside of your wrist and waiting 24 hours before full-face application. Stop use if irritation occurs.

WHAT ARE THE RESULTS I CAN EXPECT FROM AHA SMOOTHING FACIAL MASK?

After immediate use, you can expect exfoliated skin, softer skin, and less dull and tired looking skin. 

After 1 week of use, you can expect smoother looking and more radiant skin as well as minimized pores.

WHAT OTHER PRODUCTS SHOULD AND SHOULDN’T BE USED WITH THE AHA SMOOTHING FACIAL MASK?

After using the mask, follow with a toner or essence, serum, moisturizer, and SPF (if used during the day). This product also pairs well with All Bright C Serum to help make your skin glow.

Due to the strength of the acids in this formula, it is not recommend pairing the mask with other exfoliating products such as Overnight Resurfacing Peel, Countercontrol Clear Pore Cleanser, or Counterman Daily Exfoliating Cleanser on the same day.

HOW DO I USE THE 3-IN-1 FACIAL TOOL WITH AHA SMOOTHING FACIAL MASK?

• Apply mask onto skin with the spatula end and let the mask dry.
• Dampen skin with warm water and gently work the bristle side in a circular motion to remove product.
• Rinse clean.
• Follow up with serums and/or moisturizers.
• Use the massage side to help product absorb.
• Rinse brush with soap and water.

CAN I USE THE 3-IN-1 FACIAL TOOL WITH OTHER BEAUTYCOUNTER PRODUCTS?

Yes! The 3-in-1 Facial Tool works well with the Charcoal Facial Mask, along with serums and facial oils.
