The best flowers and plants for fall containers
The temps are getting slightly cooler here in South Carolina and that’s given me all the fall feels to decorate the exterior of my house with fall flowers + get to work on my fall garden. I normally do this a bit sooner than most people because I have to shoot my content before to have it ready in time for fall and every year I have to let go of my summer feelings before I can get ready for fall and all the things. I love summer so much but once the temps start dipping it makes me excited for new things and one of those are pumpkins and changing up my plants in preparation for colder temps. A lot of my summer plants will die back and that has opened up the need to replace them with a few fall ones.

I love heading into my local greenhouses Forest Lake Greenhouses because they help me with all of my plant questions and figuring out what works well together in the different areas of my yard. I’ve also decided that I don’t tend to mums well enough to keep them alive so I wanted to experiment with other fall plants in my containers. FLG was super helpful at this request for non mums decor ideas!
