Our Love Affair with Bonefish Grill

When we go on vacation, one of our favorite things to do is eat at places we don’t normally get too. We are very picky with our restaurant selections and let me tell ya, Bonefish Grill passes the test with flying colors. We recently dined there when we went on our Spring Break mini vacay to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Our entire family enjoyed our dinner and that’s always a winning meal in my book.

At Bonefish Grill, there is something for everyone in the family which makes it easy to go there with the kids. I’ve talked with so many friends that have kids and refuse to eat a restaurant with them. For Derrek and I, we love good food so much we always include them. It’s been interesting to eat out with several small children but having coloring pages always takes their little minds off waiting for food. And then there is the bread. Ya’ll! I love their bread and olive oil dipping sauce, it is SO good! You can go to Bonefish for brunch, lunch and dinner. Figuring out when to go should be your only concern!

We went for dinner with our entire family after a long day playing on the beach. Man, we were tired and very hungry. Bonefish did the trick with an amazing meal for everyone. We started with two appetizers: the Bang Bang Shrimp and Maryland Crab Cakes. Every time we go to Bonefish, we always get their signature shrimp and it never disappoints. The crab cakes were really great too! They make them fresh with lump crab meat.

Since this is a seafood based restaurant, Derrek and myself ordered fish for our main dish. Harper and the other littles picked their favorites from the kids menu which was chicken tenders and macaroni of course! For my dinner, I enjoyed the salmon with spinach and their famous mashed potatoes. Derrek ordered the Pecan Parmesan Crusted Rainbow Trout with spinach. Both of our meals were DELICIOUS and so filling we actually had enough left over for lunch the next day!

Now, let’s get to the important part: DESSERT. We don’t normally go all out for dinner with an appetizer and dessert but we wanted to celebrate one night with the kids during their Spring Break. The options are out of this world good at Bonefish Grill. Everything is so good and that means you’ll never have a bad meal. For our sweet treats we went with cheesecake and also their brownie and ice cream. Derrek and I could barely get our spoons to the plates before the kids devoured them all! haha. The food at Bonefish is impeccable and everyone will leave with a full belly and a happy heart! Visit their locations in Myrtle Beach during your trip and see for yourself.
