Nolan’s First Day of School with FabKids

I cannot believe that my first born starts kindergarten this year! Watching him prepare to begin school, it feels like Nolan has grown overnight from a newborn to this independent four-year-old.
Like so many experiences in motherhood, this, too, is bittersweet. I am so excited to see him go to school, but at the same time, I’m a little sad that he won’t be in the house all day. When FabKids reached out about collaborating on a look for his first day, I got him involved by letting him pick every part of his outfit from head to toe. He is really into dressing himself, and if I try and get him to wear something he doesn’t like, he will tell me how uncool it is. Ummmm, hello teenager! Haha!
When we scoped out the FabKids website, he didn’t turn his nose up at one style; actually he was quite indecisive about which outfit to go with. Finally he decided on this surfer shirt with cargo pants (for all of his things) and blue sneaks. His favorite color is blue, so I knew he would gravitate towards clothing of that color! I love how great each piece works together, and it makes it so easy to interchange them with other options on their website. With a monthly membership, it’s easy to purchase without spending a fortune AND you can gradually add to your child’s wardrobe without overbuying.
