MAMA and Parker Thatch
Happy Wednesday friends! I cannot believe that Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. If you’re like me, you feel like January crept by and now February is just zooming past. It is mind-blowing how we are almost mid way through this month already. I think that it’s because it is a shorter month but I’m not sure. Regardless, I’m pumped to share all that I love and that does include my favorite brands. As a mom, I’ve always put myself last and now that I have a stable income, I like to treat myself every now and then. I do this in the form of nicer pieces of clothing and accessories for my closet. It doesn’t happen often – which is why I am very intentional with my purchases.
When I was pregnant, I eyed this Ingrid and Isabel “MAMA” jacket for many, many months. I always put it in my cart but never followed through at checkout. After I had Mercy, I decided that it was the perfect “push present” and grabbed it before it went out of stock. I wear it all the time, I am loving the denim on denim look and I wear it styled this way several times a week. I also love throwing it on over a jumpsuit or dress for a fun flirty look. I love the Ingrid and Isabel line for maternity and nursing options. They are all so gorgeous and comfortable which are my two must haves for pregnancy and postpartum.
In addition to my jacket as a staple piece in my wardrobe, I LOVE my Parker and Thatch bags. I have three at this point, including this one that’s the perfect neutral with a pop of color. I love that it has the heart on it and the fun striped strap. I throw it on my shoulder and go. It’s the perfect diaper bag/computer bag/hide all of my stuff bag. I wear it every single day and I love that it’s made in the U.S. If you have never heard of Parker Thatch, formerly iomoi, they were established in 2002 by husband and wife team Irene Chen and Matthew Grenby. Each personalized bag is designed by Irene and finished in the U.S. All graphics are hand-drawn by Matthew. Their items are crafted from the heaviest weight canvas (because it must stand up on its own to be worthy of becoming your everyday companion). And, SURPRISE! I am actually giving one away so head to my Instagram to enter!
The last staple piece of my go to outfit are my Rothy’s. Lets give credit where credit is due. I am OBSESSED with them. They are so comfy and stylish – to the point that I get asked where I got them from every time I wear them in public. I love the loafer style and I actually own a few other colors but I wear these daily. They go with everything, I am actually convinced that camo is a neutral. Another thing I absolutely love about them is all Rothy’s are made with recycled water bottles and are machine washable! You can shop for them and get $20 with this link.
Ya’ll know I would never share anything I don’t swear by. I love getting dressed and doing my hair and makeup and with brands I trust, it makes me feel good about sharing what I am wearing. If you grab these shoes, a bag, or a jacket, let me know – I’d love to see how you styled them!h
