Lorena Canals Washable Rug For the Win

My kitchen is a place of solace for me. I spend countless hours preparing food for myself and my family every day. Sadly, it’s the place that often gets looked over when it comes to updating. I am working on changing that, little by little, because it is a place that I spend so much time in. Student loans kill our bank account and so that keeps me in check when it comes to re-doing something in our house. I’ve been lucky enough to work with a few companies to help spruce up this area and it is finally coming together. Something that I knew that I wanted for our spacious kitchen was a rug. Not just any rug that would get stained with spaghetti sauce, dropped eggs and spilled milk, but a washable rug.

We have worked with Lorena Canals for a few years now and it was a no-brainer for me to get one of their amazing rugs when it came time get one for the kitchen. We have a Lorena Canals rug in our playroom, Harper’s room and now the kitchen! I LOVE THEM! Not only are they washable which is a HUGE deal in itself but they are all so gorg. I love the many different patterns and textures that they have to offer. I decided to keep it neutral and go with the dark grey ombre rug that would pair well with the shiplap Wall Pops peel and stick wallpaper that I have under our cabinets. We all love the addition of this rug to our kitchen, including Scarlet Reese who is SO content lounging on it while I am in the kitchen cooking. She has recently learned to roll over so I put her toys around her to keep her occupied while I get stuff accomplished.
