Happy Monday! I hope y’all had a fabulous weekend! I don’t know about y’all, but after spending four nights at the ball field last week, I was happy for a break and some fun with the family. We had a busy but fun weekend at the beach! Shopping, eating (at Kindbelly, my absolute favorite right now), and spending hours at the county fair was just what we needed. Everyone enjoyed our laid-back time together! Our weather keeps flip-flopping and going from extremely hot to breezy and cool. It’s seriously a pain sometimes to figure out what to wear because over the course of the day, the weather can change drastically. To deal with Mother Nature’s mood swings, we love these Childhoods Clothing hoodies! (I was given these items for a review, all opinions are my own!) Seriously y’all, they are soft as butter and pair well with everything. The kids normally slip them on in the mornings, and it feels like they are wrapped up in a snuggly blanket! Nolan is at the age where he likes to pick out what he wears, so he picked this navy striped hoodie from their website. A lot of his wardrobe is blue and grey, so it works perfectly! Another reason I love this brand is because they are all produced locally (in the USA), Houston to be exact, by a husband and wife team. Since Derrek and I support our family through our business, small, family run businesses tend to tug at my heart strings and always draw me in. Add all that together with amazing quality, and you’ve hooked me as a customer! The only downfall is that they don’t make them in adult sizes because I would seriously wear one every day.

Harper’s hoodie is made with a soft grey and peach and is tunic length. This is perfect because she can wear it a lot over the next year! I love how it can be styled with leggings, shorts, or tights to create different looks. She surprised me by wanting to wear sandals with it because she is normally all about her cowboy boots! Seriously, every day we have a little battle about what shoes she is going to wear and she always wins. Regardless of her shoe choice, she has been reaching for her new hoodie any time it’s cool outside, and I suspect it’s because of how soft it is.
