Chicken Noodle Immune Soup
“Chicken noodle soup, chicken noodle soup, chicken noodle soup with a soda on da side….” am I the only one who hears this song when I make chicken noodle soup? The weather here is freezing cold and we had the promise of snow on Saturday. Sadly, it rained right before the flurries started falling so it didn’t stick. Our kids were devastated that they couldn’t use their new ski bibs (you MUST check out the huge sale that’s happening over on the Target website, I got the kids theirs for $9 each!) We passed the time by making different crafts, playing with legos and cooking some of our favorite comfort foods. Our favorite meal to make on a cold day is a big pot of chicken noodle soup. I don’t use the premade kind from the can, I always make mine from scratch using some bomb ingredients.
Bone broth from Bonafide Provisions is my go-to base when I make any form of soup but especially chicken noodle. I love using ingredients that help build our immune systems and bone broth does exactly that. Check out this recipe and see for yourself all the health benefits of bone broth and why we use Bonafide Provisions. I’ve included my recipe below so check it out and make it for yourself on a cold winter day!
